About

Sportsion began with one athlete and a deeply personal vision. Alexander, a young skier diagnosed with Level 2 Autism, ADHD, and severe anxiety disorders, holds a singular dream: to compete on the Freeride World Tour (FWT). Yet, during the most challenging chapters of our journey, the traditional sports world simply did not know how to make room for him.

Through intensive, on-the-ground advocacy, a clear realization took shape: Alexander is far from the only athlete facing these systemic barriers. Neurodivergent athletes are not lacking in capability; they are lacking in environments that are willing to understand them and give them the runway they need to thrive.

Today, Alexander's reality looks vastly different. He trains alongside a traditional freeride team and competes across the Americas, supported by institutions that have embraced a new model of inclusion.

His greatest success isn't measured in medals, but in his profound sense of belonging within the extreme sports community. In his own words: "My goal is to enter FWT. With or without a podium, I want to be there, because just being there is my ultimate goal."

He is living proof of how modifying the environment can rewrite an athlete's story.

Alexander's journey showed us that systemic barriers can be broken. We founded Sportsion to build the pathway for everyone else.
